A Year With Emily
Experience a year through the eyes of Emily as you enjoy her artwork and poetry. This 12-month experience includes reproductions of her original two-sided, monthly watercolors and words. The 12 heavyweight cards rest comfortably in the hand-cut walnut wood block. Each package also includes a copy of the artist's note…describing her inspiration and intention for the overall project.
Dimensions - Cards: 4.5” x 5.5”, Block: approximately 3” x 1.5” x 1”
"Emily was a brilliant artist and writer. She was planning to showcase this 12-month project at her graduation party as some of her most creative and beautiful work...a combination of words and watercolor.
Many of you have asked for a way to have some of her art for yourselves, and we are grateful for the team of people who have helped make this possible: Josie Lana Photography who photographed the original art and helped oversee the reproductions, to Mr. Matt Cepress - Emily's creative writing teacher who printed Emily's senior writing portfolio for us, and for Alise who is using her Branch Collective platform to make these sets available for all.
We know it makes us feel closer in some ways to her just being able to see her handwriting, her thoughts on paper, and her vibrant landscapes. We hope you feel closer to her memory and the life she lived, too.”
- Love, Heidi & Eric Lewerenz
All proceeds go to the Emily Lewerenz Memorial Fund. We plan to purchase water wells in Emily's name in developing countries and create a scholarship for writers and artists who shine light in dark places.
